The chiropractic adjustment is a noninvasive hands-on treatment using joint manipulation techniques of varying speed and force. Dr. Beal is trained in a number of techniques, some of which are extremely gentle. Through the consultation and conversations about this, she is able to explain and recommend the technique best suited for you.
Dr. Beal was trained in Pilates in her college education as a dancer, as well as performing and teaching as a dancer (athlete) for over 20 years. Through earning her sports physician credentials, she gained even more knowledge of specific rehabilitative approaches and exercises. She is a certified yoga teacher and can advise on various stress relief techniques such as breath work and meditation. Individualized sessions can be directed to deep in or modify one’s current movement practice, or instruct specific to personal injuries, interests and needs.
