David is a ten year Massage Therapist that has vast knowledge of Eastern and Western modalities. He has knowledge of Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, hot stone ,and stretch therapy.

David’s Eastern style includes Shiatsu, Thai, Jin Shin, energy, rocking and shaking, Acupressure, potent point therapy, and range of motion.

He specializes in sciatica relief and has introduction for chronic headache and migraine control.

David is a therapist that seeks an opportunity to help people destress from the world. He invites the person laying on the table to a world of relaxation on a journey to inner peace.

Faith has been practicing massage for 3 years and received her training and certification at Loving Hands in Arcata, CA. She loves being able to see the difference her work does: the transformation each session can achieve. Whether you are looking for total relaxation, deep tissue for aching muscles, or to experience the many benefits of cupping therapy, she will tune each treatment to your specific needs. Faith’s treatments may also include lymphatic work, acupressure, shiatsu, reflexology, and a variety of neuromuscular techniques. She looks forward to providing each client the nurturing and therapeutic experience they deserve.

Liz’s work is distinct and intentional, giving particular focus to postural alignment, psycho-somatic health and individual self worth.

Deeply influenced by the theories relating to the body-mind connection, she integrates her knowledge of anatomy, healing traditions and movement to make the most out of your time on the massage table. Liz’s work is often informed by her studies and experiences in faith based spirituality, metaphysics and ancient cultural traditions.

With her firm, yet intuitive touch Liz is a versatile and experienced therapist who will "take you to the edge”, it’s up to you to take the leap.

Originally a midwest native, this therapist has been residing here in Humboldt now for over two decades. Liz is fascinated by art, nature and the spectrum of human experience. She finds joy in helping others to feel more aligned, empowered and genuinely at home in their bodies.

Liz holds two degrees; an AA in dance (HSU 2012) and a BA in Metaphysical Studies (UMS 2020). She also completed a professional training program in physical theater through Dell’ Arte International, (2011) and has been an active participant in our local music, theater and performance community for many years.

After building a strong career in youth programs, behavioral health and ethical mentorship; she then returned to her hometown in 2021 to study the art of bodywork. After completing a 700 hour program ( CCMT 2022) she is now a licensed massage therapist in two states.

Liz has worked all across the nation with a variety of clients from different backgrounds, belief systems and age groups (newborn to 96). She meets each individual with compassion, empathy and tranquil reverence.

As an actor, writer, musician and light-worker Liz is continuously approaching life and her work with creativity and fresh perspective.

A self pledged life long learner she enjoys integrating new skills and modalities into her vast and effective spiritual healing toolbox.

Liz is Mother to four beautiful beings with whom she try’s to spend as much time as possible. A passionate advocate for freedom of self expression, she celebrates diversity, culture and community bonds.

What Lucia loves most about doing skin care is that she gets to help clients look and feel at their best. She has had a life long love of skin care and all that goes into putting our best face forward. Her areas of special interest include treatments and products to promote youthful skin.

Vanesa’s goal is that each person on her table feels safe to receive the healing they need, and that they rise feeling more ease and vitality in their mind, body and spirit. Massage sessions with her draw upon and integrate the varied healing modalities she has studied, as well as her 14 years of prior experience as a trauma-informed mental health professional and educator. Her massage practice is based in Hot Stone Lomi Lomi, Hawaiian massage with hot lava stones. She loves the deeply relaxing, elemental experience of the hot stones combined with slow, flowing strokes and ocean-like rhythmic breathing of Lomi. She weaves together techniques from Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Shiatsu, Thai Massage, Hot Towel therapy with Aromatherapy, Breathwork, Sound Therapy and Reiki to create deeply nourishing and therapeutic sessions that effortlessly ease her clients into a wholehearted state of bliss. Her sessions can incorporate gentle Sound Healings upon request with Rose Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, Koshi Chimes, Ocean Drum and Rainstick to elevate the spirit and seal each experience in a vibration of serenity.

*She also offers Prenatal Lomi Lomi Massage with Reiki and Sound Healing sessions for expecting mothers.

Sarah and her husband Antonio decided taking over the local business would be a great opportunity to continue building their roots down in Mckinleyville while raising their two young boys.

Sarah and Antonio are grateful to be given the opportunity to hold space for other’s to give and receive the gift of self-care.

Sarah coordinates scheduling appointments at Essential Elements. A former Dental Assistant for 10 years, she loves to help people find ways in taking the initiative in their preventive health.

Sarah has an AS degree in Dental Science from College of the Redwoods. She has a BS Business degree with an emphasis in Marketing from Cal Poly Humboldt. She is a Certified Soul Purpose Coach from the Dharma Coaching Institute and a Certified Organic Skincare Formulator from the online science school Formula Botanica. She is currently enrolled in the Esthetician program at Fredrick and Charles with an anticipated graduation date March 2024.

With just over two decades in the spa industry — working not only in spas, but in environments from medicinal offices and corporate wellness centers to residential holistic programs and yoga in schools — Stephanie Graber has helped a plethora of people navigate their wellness journeys. Being a longtime health advocate, as Stephanie built relationships with clients, she always made an effort to refer people to holistic practitioners she knew could assist with their healing, so they could get back to living a life they love: one that’s healthy, and free of stress and pain.

When Stephanie moved to Humboldt County in 2010, she decided to start a business completely focused on wellness. Her dream? One door, with a team of holistic practitioners who offer various services to support clients. This is how Essential Elements Spa was created — with a mission to inspire and serve the community through spa and wellness programs that educate and support clients in their lifestyle goals.

It is with pleasure and excitement that she has recently decided to surrender to the flow and go where universe takes her and that has led her to Bend, Oregon to be near family and see her daughter flourish in a new place.
